Accents Restaurant and Cafe in Kingaroy won the Restaurant/Cafe category for the Brisbane/Darling Downs region at the 2011 Savour Australia Awards for Excellence announced at Jupiters Casino.

was competing against establishments such as Cafe21 @
Treasury, Brisbane; Lock n Load Bistro, West End and The Gunshop Cafe,
West End.
Judging for the award covers food, wine, service and
the overall restaurant "experience". Judging is done "blind" from the
initial booking phone call with no one at the restaurant aware of who
the judge is.
Owner
Jimmy Stephen opened Accents in
Kingaroy just nine months ago but he is no stranger to Restaurant &
Catering Association awards. He has previously won the "Best European
Restaurant" gong at the Savini Restaurant and Wine Bar at Kangaroo
Point.
Accents will now compete against category winners from
other States at the National Awards which will be announced next month
in Sydney.
We are very happy and proud to be recognized by the industry and would like to thank all of our customers for their support.
Whether you're looking for a venue for your next work meeting, engagement,
birthday or anniversary party, group booking or just a friendly get together,
we now have Function menus on our website. If you'd like something you
don't see there,talk to Jimmy and he'll be happy
to accomodate to make your function a winner.
Instead of our 2 for $25 Tuesday nights, we are now having $12.50 Early Bird specials
EVERY NIGHT between 5-6pm.
Our aim is to provide delicious, fresh dishes to suit a variety of palates. Steaks, seafood, pasta, risotto as well as daily specials of lasagne, quiche, baguettes and home cooked curries. Children are also catered for with our kids menu for $7.50 (which includes ice cream!) as well as our child safe play area.
Functions, group bookings and parties are more than welcome at Accents. If you would like to book the whole restaurant for the night, you are welcome to decorate as you please as well. We will help in any way possible to make it a fun night for everyone. Call Jimmy to discuss your requirements. Vegetarian and gluten free meals can also be provided, if given notice.
